Sandia Sand Tourney THIS WEEKEND!!
Okey doke, so the word on Sonny (from Plastic who is putting on the tournament) has said that unless there is a sudden flood of girls signing up for the Open in the next three days, the Open division and the A division will be combined. The B division will be on its own. If you have questions, email me or Sonny @ sonny@plasticclothing.com .
About that sandia tournament registration site
The Sandia Mountain Classic Sand tournament's website is not working. Sonny said to call him directly at 505 269-6119 or email him at sonny@plasticclothing.com with information (i.e. your name, your partner's name and division you want to play in) so he can sign you up. The $60 registration fee will be paid the day of.
Due to a lack of women teams registered, the $60 fee will not be increased after May 1st so SIGN UP!!!

This tournament is scheduled for May 12th and 13th (Saturday and Sunday). It is being put on by Sonny from Plastic Clothing Co. So all questions and registration issues should be directed to him. This tournament is supposed to be HUGE! The deadline for registering on-line is May 1st.

April 14th Tournament Results
Thanks to all who came out to play in last weekend's tournament! The morning started off a little chilly but not nearly as bad as many of us anticipated since it had been snowing in certain parts of the state (us Santa Fe folk got dumped on). We were able to play outside on the brand new sand courts that had just been completed. The sand WAS DEEP! The results of the tournament were:

I want to say that Cece and Alex are only high schoolers but show amazing promise for the future. They held their own and worked together well.

Alright, Ladies! I finally got it together and have started our very own website devoted to none other than Women's sand volleyball in New Mexico!
This site will constantly be evolving as I get pictures from previous tournaments, schedules, and other things we all agree should be on here. I love feedback so, lay it on me!
As a reminder, we have a tournament coming up at Charlie's Sandbox, next Saturday, April 14th.
